Cat VR, the world’s first pet-friendly virtual reality.

In Australia, cats kill more than one million wildlife every day. And with felines being notoriously independent, most owners believe it’s too hard to keep their patty healthy indoors.

To educate the owners first we needed to grab their attention. Enter Cat VR - The word’s first pet-friendly virtual reality. The buzz created for this technology drew people in where they quickly learned they didn’t need VR to keep their cats indoors (and away from wildlife), because simple household hacks are even better.

Supporting the immersive experience for cats, safecat.org.au is a website designed to create a community of cat lovers sharing tips and advice on how to offer a safe and enriching life for cats inside, and a safer environment for native wildlife outside.

Shipster, free shipping from Australia Post’s partner merchants.

Online shopping is only getting bigger across Australia; testament to this is Amazon’s imminent entry to the market. In response to this, Australia Post has partnered with over 40 retailers to launch Shipster. For one low monthly fee, members receive unlimited, free shipping from partner merchants. Isobar was tasked with the development of the visual identity and branding of this new product, along with the launch strategy, and campaign planning, for Shipster.

The Last Drops, the last oil-free ocean water from Australia.

The cold and violent waters of the Great Australian Bight are home to one of the country’s most biodiverse and important marine ecosystems. But a Norwegian company had plans to drillfor oil in the Great Australian Bight by October 2019. The chance of an oil spill is extremely high. The disaster would affect the whole coast from South Australia to New South Wales, taking decades to recover.

We created a bottle collection preserving the last oil-free ocean water from South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania. If drilling proceeds, these water samples may be the only proof of our Great Australian Bight rare and complex ecosystem.

Hide & Seek, avoid the awkward and simplify the payback process.

Housemates are hiding in their bedrooms workmates are ducking into the toilets, and friends are avoiding replying to texts. Why? Because of the tiny debts that turn into a big deal when avoided. For this campaign, Paypal wanted to help Aussies avoid the awkward and simplify the payback process.

Isobrew, the visual communication for Isobar’s beers.

Isobar is a Digital Adversing Agency with a wide range of professionals, from different disciplines, working together to deliver complex ecosystems. The design of their own beer had to demonstrate that Isobar works more effective and in a collaborative way.

Using the office floor plan as a guide, we created a grid by connecting every desk of our teams. Every person represents part of the grid. The grid gave us the freedom to create an elegant typeface, using simple squares as a module

The result is a recognizable typeface. The modules connects perfectly to each other and works just fine in large and small formats. Compared to other beer labels, the new design stands out, putting Isobrew in a unique place..

UPS, package delivery company.

Growth matters to UPS, so we investigated the strength of the UPS brand to ensure it was working as hard as possible to show the world the unique value UPS brings. We used our learnings to drive our work of creating a brand that both served our business and engaged our audience.

Phillips Walita

A series of images, which shows paint modeled by the centripetal force. The setup is very simple: Different shades of acrylic paint are dripped onto fruits, which are connected to a drill. When switched on, the paint starts to move away from the fruits, creating these amazing looking structures.

The motion of the paint happens in a blink of an eye, the images you see are taken only millisecond after the drill was turned on. To capture the moment, where the paint forms that distinctive shape, we connected a sensor to the drill, which sends an impulse to the flashes. These specialized units are capable of creating flashes as short as a 1/40000 of a second, freezing the motion of the paint.

I’m Raffi, Creative Art Director. I've been in advertising for over 6 years working first in my native country, Brazil, then USA, Germany and now Australia.

I started my career as a Graphic Designer at almasurf Magazine in Brazil but I quickly became an Art Director. I worked at agencies including ID/TBWA, MOOD/TBWA, and J.Walter Thompson.
